Online Marketing Director - EMEA - Rosetta Stone - London

Rosetta Stone is looking for an Online Marketing Director to lead our growing pan-European Online Marketing team.

Location: The role is based in the London Office, situated in central London close to Central St Giles.

Key objectives:
o Develop and execute a strong growth strategy for Europe DTC through scaling online marketing
o Drive focus in the DACH region to become the leading language learning business in DACH.
o Develop an end to end mobile marketing strategy for our main products/apps
o Continue to drive high levels of engagement in the social channel and prove monetization of channel
Main responsibilities for this role:
o Lead the European Online Marketing team, including PPC and SEO, Display, Mobile, Affiliates, Email, Social Media as well web strategy.
o Drive and accelerate online marketing performance, improving conversion rates, scaling visits and conversions while steering on spend/visit and acquisition cost per order.
o Own and manage the Online Marketing P&L that supports the overall business strategy for Europe, liaising closely with the European Management team.
o Expand Online Marketing, develop a strong mobile strategy and grow online Partnerships.
o Develop a Social Media strategy with primary focus on driving awareness, engagement and ultimately lead generation as the end goal.
o Improve our organic search rankings through off and onsite SEO.
o Manage and improve PPC and Display activities on an ROI-basis.

o You have experience in running the P&L of a business unit with fast growth expectations.
o You are highly analytical and metric driven.
o You are a generalist with main expertise in online marketing, but also a good working knowledge of web operations and e-commerce strategies.
o You have affinity with language learning and/or working internationally.
o You have a positive, team player attitude in the relation to subordinates, peers and in relations with headquarters and colleagues overseas.
o You have a good understanding of algorithms and code to optimise web strategy.

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience/Qualifications:

o Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a direct to consumer e-commerce environment.
o Proven track record in Online Marketing in fast growing businesses, with measurable results.
o Excellent academic credentials.
o Highly commercial and strong communicator.
o Proven leadership capacities, with cases of supported growth of subordinates.
o Has clear affinity with language learning and/or working internationally.
