The Finance team is responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. It is also responsible for developing our corporate financial strategy, consolidation and management reporting of corporate financial data, accounting and cash management, financial controls, and tax management.

The Global Purchasing Finance function provides financial advice and support to the Purchasing team with a primary focus on monitoring, reporting, and controlling all aspects related to production material. Its first key objective is to drive effective decisions through the provision of accurate material cost information and sound business advice, and the second one is to create a culture of integrity within operations to support robust financial information.

As the Material Consolidation and Product Cost Manager, you’ll be responsible for Consolidation and Cost Tracking teams. In this role, you'll lead the business plan, budget, forecast, and actuals reporting process for global material cost reporting. One of your key responsibilities will be to develop and manage the relationship with the Programme Finance team to ensure a robust final status reporting process for the cost of new vehicles going into production. You'll also deliver accurate, timely material cost reporting of all our cars sold worldwide and provide cash forecasting of all production purchasing spend.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For this position, you'll need a working knowledge of SAP (general ledger and product costing in particular) and be a holder of a professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.

In addition, your talents should include the ability to manage and develop a diverse and multi-skilled team to their full potential. Strong numerical, technical, and analytical skills will be required to translate financial issues for operational teams, and you’ll be at least an intermediate-level user of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally, you’ll have a strong appreciation of robust change management practices, backed up with a sound financial and commercial acumen which you’ll to proactively apply to decision making.
