Pega are looking for a talented Practice Director to join the UK & Nordics Consulting Team

We are seeking a driven and passionate individual with an innovative and entrepreneurial flair to take control of named accounts within the Financial Services space. A Practice Director in the UK and Nordics region is responsible for customer success across all modes of delivery (Customer Led, Partner Led, Pega led) within their specific portfolio of accounts. The Practice Director works closely with both technical and non-technical teams, managing and running complex large-scale enterprise software implementations. Our Practice Directors actively contribute to growing license revenue within their target accounts – up selling and cross selling in a consultative fashion in order to further customer success.

Practice Directors are put through a comprehensive training programme in Pega’s technology which includes a 2 week stint in our global headquarters in Boston, MA. This structured on-boarding programme is designed to enable you to succeed in your career as a Practice Director with Pega to really help our customers Build for Change™.

Responsibilities:

Sales

Selling Pega as an organisation to our customers and being an evangelist of Pega’s business and technology
Identifying new opportunities, developing them and selling consulting services engagements to customers in a consultative fashion
As an integral part of the account team, support the sales team in the pursuit of new software license opportunities, using the power of our delivery approach as a key differentiator
Contributing to client strategy, account strategy & planning as part of a focused Account Team

Relationship Building

Build and develop meaningful relationships with customers across multiple levels from C-level to project level
Teaming with the wider account team who focus on new licence opportunities
Developing and maintaining close relationships with delivery partners and helping them achieve customer success to enable further opportunities within target accounts

Delivery Oversight

As a thought leader in the delivery of enterprise solutions, consult with clients on how to deliver transformational enterprise programmes that achieve the customers’ required business outcome in rapid timescales, using the company’s products and services
Provide expert oversight support for Pega’s own consulting team, technology partners and customers throughout the project lifecycle

Desired Skills and Experience

BA / BS – Business / Technical Degree or equivalent experience
Experience within the Financial Services and specifically the Banking space
Minimum 12 years of experience in professional services programme and sales management
Significant experience in implementing enterprise software solutions for customers
Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in leading project teams
Deep experience in driving successful projects where they are led by clients or partners
Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to manage and develop C-level relationships
A track record in identifying and developing business opportunities
Ability to analyse business and technical requirements and produce estimates and delivery plans
Experience of negotiating, teaming and contracting with clients and partner organisations
Experience in forecasting, financial management and revenue & margin reporting
Skilled in leading both small and enterprise-wide engagement
Experience in Agile software delivery approaches and methodologies
Ability to effectively manage and resolve client escalations
You must be able to travel
