We are seeking a professional individual to add to our team in London as a Senior Designer.
Responsible for working across the creative aspects of our accounts considering large scale projects and campaigns, process improvement and creating best-case scenarios to aid a client creatively. They will work closely with our copywriters to brainstorm concepts and ideas and discuss their execution. They should have strong visual and typographic skills whilst still maintaining accuracy and a consistent attention to detail. Senior designers are expected to oversee projects from brief to completion and work closely with our developers to ensure the work is executed perfectly.
They will cover a range of digital output from email marketing, websites, banner ads and social activity to pitch presentations and marketing comms. They will have extensive experience in email marketing and have a thorough knowledge of email best practice as well as a knowledge HTML and CSS. They will also have a proven track record in website design and experience working alongside UX teams to design websites for large bluechip clients. Experience in e-commerce websites would be valuable experience. Whilst not expected to code, our designers should have enough knowledge to ensure they are able to design work that can be executed by our developers.
Responsibilities:
Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
Discussing the clients core message and target audience
Presenting creative options to clients
Maintain knowledge and understanding of client history
Modifying designs until the client is satisfied
Have an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
Meeting with account executives to discuss the client's requirements and core messages
Familiarising themselves with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
Presenting initial ideas to the Creative Director, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts
Working with junior designers to mentor and check their work
Working with the Creative Director to take the design lead on new business pitches
Job Requirements:
Experienced utilizing a number of both on and offline design applications (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Knowledge in HTML authoring applications (Adobe Dreamweaver, hand-coding, etc.)
Extensive experience in design for email marketing and have a thorough knowledge of email best practice as well as good HTML and CSS skills.
Whilst not expected to code, our designers should have enough knowledge to ensure they are able to design work that can be executed by our developers.
Experienced in general business applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Extensive professional knowledge of the E-mail Marketing Industry
Likely to have 6+ years experience.
Degree education
