Job Description
The Global Brand Director TheraSphere is responsible for developing and implementing the Global Marketing Strategy and Business Plan for TheraSphere and supports its execution across all geographies and functions. This position also contributes significantly to the overall IO Strategy of BTG as well as its underlying disease strategies and will assure that TheraSphere makes an integral part of both.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop, progress and implement the Global TheraSphere marketing strategy in collaboration with the related functions and key stakeholders and in aligment with the overall IO Strategy.
Develop, progress and implement the Global TheraSphere Brand under the umbrella of the BTG IM Brand.
Significantly contribute to establishing the overall IO Strategy, underlying disease strategies and coherent portfolio strategies (currently Bead Block, Beads and TheraSphere)
Establish and maintain a strong relation to regions, our field forces and our key opinion leaders and customers to develop well informed strategies and tactics.
Cooperate with geographies and functions concerned to support the development of strategies and tactics and assure alignment in strategic objectives and implementation.
Collaborate with market access colleagues to ensure the alignment and delivery of market access and commercial goals with respect to the development pharmacoeconomic tools to improve reimbursement.
Collaborate with the global market communications team to develop communication strategies and tactics in line with the brand requirements.
Assist with the creation of advisory boards and/or consultant meetings with key healthcare professionals against set goals and objectives to gain therapeutic area, competitive and marketing strategy insights.
Support the set up and implementation of symposia and the commercial presence of TheraSphere at key Global conferences.
Drive Market Analytics and Research as required to support the development of the marketing strategy.
Responsible for developing promotional tools and marketing tactics to deliver the Global TheraSphere Strategy.
Manage the Global TheraSphere Marketing Budget.
A clear understanding of evidence based medicine concepts and their relation to promoting healthcare related products.
Adhere to company policies on environmental, health, safety and workplace policies.
Ensure compliance with all BTG policies and local laws regulating commercial activities and that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with utmost quality and in accordance with BTG values.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the line manager.
Expectation to travel approximately 50% of the time, or at a frequency to meet Global business goals.

Internal – Regions, Marketing Communications, Congress & Events Management, Finance, Market Access & Reimbursement, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Medical, Logistics.
External – Interventional Oncologists, Oncology Nurses, Interventional Radiologists, Medical Oncologists, Hepatologists, Gastroenterologists, Professional and Congress Societies and Governmental agencies, Patient Associations
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science or Business and/or a Master of Business Administration is required.
A University degree is mandatory.
Experience working within the liver oncology or general oncology therapeutic is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical industry with solid strategic marketing experience is required
International experience is required
Ability to communicate and write in English is mandatory, multilingualism would be an asset
