Job Description:
You will have significant experience of delivering corporate brand development programmes, thought leadership campaigns, B2B media and stakeholder engagement programmes, crisis and issues management. As part of an integrated, and at times lead agency, model, this person will understand and be able to shape a rounded communications response to client briefs as required. This includes not only putting digital at the heart of the response, but also considering the role for consumer PR and marketing, public affairs, events and paid for media.
Experience of working for large multi-national companies is required. Proven experience of developing group level integrated campaigns and individual business unit programmes. Deep knowledge of the topics of innovation in business and STEM is also necessary in order to be able to perform this role.
Experience working in the energy, automotive, manufacturing sectors is desirable but not essential. However, this person will be able to demonstrate a good level of insight into the trends facing the sector.
Basic Qualifications
The senior vice president must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.
Preferred Qualifications
The senior vice president should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a track record of developing and executing profitable public relations campaigns that meet client objectives. S/he should have strong leadership qualities including superb people management skills. S/he should be able to attract, motivate, empower, coach and retain staff. International experience is a plus.
