The Amazon advertising design and user experience team is seeking a talented and passionate creative director to create innovative, visually stunning and effective advertising experiences that tell stories and drive business performance for the world’s leading brands across Europe. The ideal candidate will combine creative inspiration with the ability to create functional, user-centered advertising concepts that connect with Amazon customers across all channels.

Specific Responsibilities
Design cutting-edge advertising experiences for the world’s leading advertisers shaped for Amazon audiences
Build a network of influential cross divisional collaborators to realize ambitious creative possibilities incorporating the full Amazon suite of consumer services (One Amazon).
Engage in brand strategy consultative discussions with senior marketer and agency leaders to surface creative scenarios that advance brand objectives
Create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
Partner with sales teams by bringing big ideas to life through ideation and creation of high fidelity concepts for sales presentations
Present your cutting edge solutions directly to clients, partner agencies and decision makers
Create user-centered concepts by integrating marketing objectives, target audience, creative assets and Amazon design patterns into intuitive solutions
Develop and contribute to detailed cross-platform rich media specifications
Raise bar on creative skills recruitment & skills development and mentor designers across the organization
Mobilize non-standard innovation practices - including co-creation with creative agencies and production houses
Interpret the appropriate mechanisms and process for custom to scale creative offerings
Pioneer the usage of Amazons unique data insights to better inform creative excellence
Basic Qualifications
Desire to create end to end concepts for market and multi national brand solutions on the most customer centric platform
Excellent presentation skills and interactive story telling ability
Art direction experience and designer oversight with attention for detail and superb user engagement
Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player
Experience setting creative direction, coordinating and reviewing the work of the design team and other clients and internal stakeholders to ensure highest quality and unity of visual style
Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong creative direction, visual design skills and experience creating great interactive advertising experiences is a requirement for application
Strong people manager with a proven ability to hire, develop and grow world class design teams
Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop and the full Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience as a creative leader, preferably with demonstrable experience gained in an interactive agency environment
Bachelor degree in design or equivalent professional experience required, Masters degree preferred
Motion Design skills is a plus
Proven experience as a leader for moving image production & conceptualization
