This role serves as the main client interface point for our most complex engagements, ensuring that client has an exceptional experience and that projects are delivered within scope, on time, and profitably. The Director is an internal and external representative of the business in all aspects of client relationship development and management, upsell, engagement delivery/leadership, people leadership, practice and knowledge management for Analytics capability area.
Essential Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership
• Provide day to day leadership of highly complex, multi-stream engagements; personally involved in ensuring high levels of quality, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction
• Lead the definition of the problem to be solved (often nuanced and complex) using discrete analytics with the client executives and managers as well as
• defining the necessary data and where that data resides in the hospital information systems .
• Responsible to translate the technical requirements through to the engineering team who will design the suite of analytics
• Deliver the solution through a multi-dimensional group to include client representatives, Healthcare Partners Consultants and Engineers.
• Ensure engagement profitability
• Responsible for the achievement of contracted client engagement outcomes, foreseeing, communicating and mitigating risk.
• Clarity of thought to influence and drive a multi-generation plan that pragmatically solves the defined client problem.
• Ability to deeply understand the client data and the ability to use that data to succinctly create analytics to drive client insight and actions to solve the defined
• problem.
• Prepare and deliver succinct, clear and insightful and influential executive-level presentations.
• Establish executive level relationships with key stakeholders, decision makers in key accounts.
• Serve as one of the GE liaisons to the client for executive level communication.
• Effectively develop and lead internal engagement team, leveraging strengths and appropriately delegating

Business Development
• Continuously updates their understanding of the clients’ changing clinical and/or operational issues, identifying, communicating and actively supporting and scoping upsell opportunities
• Align and advise clients in support of a Principal or Director to achieve their desired clinical or operational outcomes.
• Actively contribute to securing new and upsell opportunities by providing subject matter expertise to develop and present client focused solutions
• Potential to drive opportunities independently provided utilization remains high

Practice Management
• Responsibility for key metrics to include, but not limited to, revenue, operating margin, on time project completion and upsell orders.
• Being recognized internally and externally as an expert in Clinical Analytics
• Manages and directs Knowledge Management activities on the engagement team.
• Leads and drives the evolution of the Analytics capability to include building consulting practitioner knowledge of the domain, and leading the creation of internal and external thought leadership assets.

People Leadership
• Leading and managing multiple engagement teams providing organizational leadership, mentoring, career development and coaching.
• Requiring, modeling, promoting and completing timely performance feedback to team members.
• Developing and training junior staff.
• Leading the growth of organization members with responsibility of performance management, career development and coaching.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelors Degree
• Experience in either advisory services/consulting in clinical operations improvements or a combination of advisory services/consulting in a healthcare setting
• AND leading a clinical operations team inside a hospital in a healthcare setting
• Experience leading and managing complex projects with outcome focused deliverables.
• Experience in applying Simulation and Mathematical Optimization in Healthcare
• Working knowledge of typical workflow in hospitals
• Experience directly or indirectly leading a team of reports.
• Proven ability interact with various levels within the client organization (department manager to Executive)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point
• Ability to travel at least 70%

Desired Characteristics
• Master’s Degree – MBA, MHA, MPHA
• Experience in either advisory services/consulting
• Strong expertise and understanding of the Healthcare industry and major trends in the geography in which client projects are delivered.
• Healthcare clinical operations experience
• Experience in applying Simulation and Mathematical Optimization in Healthcare
• Ability to lead others in the application of statistical analysis to transactional processes.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management teams
• Ability to negotiate complex and strategic contracts.
• Ability to think creatively and create out of the box solutions for external and internal problems
• Demonstrated Technology acumen and understanding of software systems
• Demonstrated data mining and analytical skills
