Senior Hospitality and Leisure Accountant KPMG Birmingham

The SBA team has significant plans for growth. To support this growth we are recruiting a Senior Hospitality and Leisure Accountant. This is a new position and the successful candidate will be reporting into the specialist Retailer and Franchise sub-team, who, supported by an online platform will provide accounting and tax services including:
- Supervision and review of Bookkeeping

- Management accounts reporting, variance analysis and data analytics

- Corporate tax compliance

- Year-end UK statutory accounts

- Payroll and company secretarial services (provided by separate specialists)

- VAT compliance and advisory

The role

Qualified candidates should be qualified through ACCA, CIMA, ACA or recognised equivalent qualifications. Candidates should have the core skills of management accounting, corporate tax and exposure to VAT compliance work. The scope of work may vary so candidates should be adaptable. They will report directly into an experienced Team Leader.

Specific experience of providing the above services within Hospitality and Leisure businesses is desirable, but not essential.
