As the Senior Director – Corporate Communications at Dimension Data you will lead the strategy, plan & execution of our communications programme on behalf of the Dimension Data Group. You will be responsible for the overarching content strategy, audience segmentation, objectives, budgets, technical vision, values and execution. Working closely with our global leadership team and the wider marketing organisation, you will provide inspiring guidance on the role of communications to build brand, recruit talent and deliver profitable revenue growth. As an excellent communicator yourself, you will help coach and guide the wider organisation on how to communicate with more impact.

What we expect you to do
Be accountable for our overall communications strategy and the layers of stories, data, audiences & tools that contribute to it.
Take responsibility for the overarching content strategy for Dimension Data.
Be responsible for mapping our key audiences and ensuring that we are maintaining a regular and consistent two way communication with them.
Lead the execution of our corporate communications strategy through both our group & regional resources.
Be responsible for managing both a direct team of corporate communications experts as well as leading and influencing an indirect community of regional communications experts and wider marketing professional.
Work closely with our global Executive Team, including our Chairman and CEO to help us communicate better, work with our regional teams to unleash the power of our client stories, our partner team to understand how we can leverage our wider partner channels as well as our HR colleagues for access to our amazing talent.

Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job
Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Communications
At least 15 years’ experience in the work place, with at least 10 years' experience as a senior communications leader within a complex multi-national environment
Member of a Marketing or Communications professional body
Significant experience working closely with executive teams & senior stakeholders
Experience working in a digital first environment and an understanding of how this is changing communications strategy
Knowledge and understanding of the technology industry environment and business needs
Experience working and influencing people across a corporate matrix
Able to demonstrate a high level of political and business awareness; acutely aware of organisational sensitivities
