Emea Sales Compensation Director Lenovo Hook

This role has direct responsibility for the design, development, deployment and communication of global compensation, recognition, and performance management programs for Lenovo’s sales employee population.
In addition the role with have responsibility for providing compensation consulting to client groups in Lenovo in EMEA. They will represent the needs of their client groups in the design and execution of global compensation programs, as well as providing specific compensation solutions to their client groups as required.

Key areas of responsibility include:
 Short-term cash-based incentive programs for sellers
 Market-based pay structures for sales roles
 Performance Management Program
 Merit Pay Planning for sales roles
 Governance of Lenovo’s sales compensation programs

Implementation of compensation programs in assigned client groups or geographies in Lenovo’s business

This role will also work on special projects, as assigned.

Position Requirements
 Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance-related area
o Masters degree or CCP certification a plus
 8-10 years experience in compensation-related roles, including:
o Design, development and implementation of sales compensation frameworks across multiple countries in complex multi-channel sales organizations
Country, regional and global experience
o Strategic and operational
 Executive compensation experience; Board / Compensation Committee experience is ideal
 Experience in managing people / teams and building successful virtual team
 Experience working at a global or multi-national company

 Excellent analytical skills and abilities
 Strong financial acumen
 Proven project management / planning experience
 Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities, with attention to detail
 Strong communications skills (both written and verbal)
 Collaborative, with an ability to work across teams & cultures

 Results orientation; drives continuous improvement in process/plans
 Comfortable in working amid ambiguity and change
 Flexible and adaptable; innovative thinker
 Proficient with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
