The Director, Continuing Health Care Strategic Improvement Programme, is a key national leadership role, responsible for strategic direction and delivery of the NHS CHC SIP programme. They will ensure that The ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS or Social Care with significant Board level commissioning experience and an interest in CHC.
They will be expert at engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders from the Department of Health, to CCGs and their partners in Local Authorities, national charities representing service users and carers and the care home sector. They will lead a team of up to 30 staff, with a Programme Director and a Policy Director to support and will work closely with colleagues across NHS England in related policy areas. This is a good opportunity to gain experience of working nationally on a high profile commissioning policy area. The post is available for a 2 year secondment for NHS staff or a 2 year fixed term contract for non NHS staff.
