We are now looking for a high calibre talented professional to lead our growth strategy in Europe.

Reporting directly to the SVP - Global Business the successful candidate will be responsible for revenue generation in Europe and will be required to work with SVP – Global Business to develop and define vertical market penetration strategies within the region as well as partnering with Pearson sister companies to drive joint revenue opportunities.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in articulating and implementing our sales market strategy targeted towards generating revenue through establishing and growing our commercial activities in the region.  You will also be responsible for finding and interact with existing and major potential new clients and key opinion formers with the goal of securing multi – year high volume testing contracts across identified verticals.

Desired Skills & Experience

The Ideal Candidate will be:
Degree and MBA level or equivalent
Excellent academic background
Experience within a senior management sales focused MD role and a proven track record of securing high value, multi year contracts.
Experienced in the contracting / service delivery industry
Exemplary but personable presentation skills
Strong verbal and written skills
Agile and positive thinker
Track record of working in a matrix, multi-disciplined, global business
IT Literate (MS Office)

In addition you will be an accomplished leader ideally with a solutions sales background and proven track record of growing, leading & motivating large teams, specifically in a sales and customer focused business. You will also have a proven track record in managing, developing, leading and growing a business - in excess of £40m/Annum.
