Our Team
Eurpoe Middle East and Africa Risk Management is an independent function reporting to the Treasury and Securities Services Risk Executive and JP Morgan Chief Risk Officer. Eurpoe Middle East and Africa Risk Management, in partnership with the line of business management, covers all clients and product within the Western European and developed markets of Central and Eastern Europe and, Middle East and Africa.
Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen in the Eurpoe Middle East and Africa Risk management team for a senior individual with strong financial services background to be Risk Manager for Fiduciary and Compliance Reporting services and to provide risk management leadership across Worldwide Securities Services in the Eurpoe Middle East and Africa region for fiduciary risk. Fiduciary and Compliance Reporting are key components of the Global Fund Services product suite. JP Morgan acts as trustee / depositary for circa 2000 funds with a combined value of circa $1,000bn, domiciled in 11 countries across the region. The forthcoming changes in regulation for the fund management industry in Europe will have a significant impact on the scope and responsibilities of a depositary and the Trust and Fiduciary business over the coming years.

Requirements
A Risk Manager within Worldwide Securities Services must build an effective partnership with the business management and to have an understanding of the products, proceses and strategic goals of the business to enable a holistic approach to risk management.
Essential Skills
- Successful track record as a senior manager operating in the financial services sector
- Effective communication - both written and verbal
- Methodical and self-disciplined
- Self-motivated and pro-active
- Strong negotiation and influence skills
- Proven team working ability
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in a financial services organisation acting as a custodian, trustee or administrator
- Experience as a Risk Manager, Auditor or Compliance officer is desirable
