We are seeking an inspiring and driven Business Director, with agency experience, to be our clients' go-to person.

With your understanding of their strategic, commercial, technical, business and marketing imperatives our clients will see you as key to their own success.

You will take overall ownership of the relationship with a group of digital accounts and be responsible for achieving objectives in relation to those accounts (primarily revenue, profitability and client service).

Responsibilities:
Client knowledge and management - account plans, client expectations
Account Development - cross-selling, identify opportunities
Team and project management - resourcing, reporting, management of team of Account Directors
Financial management and administration - account planning, project pricing, income projections
Sales and Marketing - presenting, pitching to win, PR opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You’ll need 10+ years of creating inspiring strategies and successful outcomes, with significant experience of:
digital solutions across web design and build, application development, digital comms, social media, mobile
building high-performing teams
growing Client business
delivering profitable portfolios
managing multiple pieces of business with revenue up to £5 million per annum.

You are an accomplished business developer (with new business as well as existing client portfolio) and have significant experience of directing and guiding teams to create inspiring solutions as well as ensuring that revenue and profitability goals are achieved through effective negotiation throughout the business development process.

You are a consummate team builder. Your experience and leadership style brings out the best in people around you. You understand that personal development is of the utmost importance both for you and your team.

As the Business Director is responsible for a large part of the Agency revenue and profitability. You need broad shoulders because others will look to you to drive these areas.

As it's one of the most senior roles at Rufus Leonard and you need to be a highly motivated self-starter, with highly developed leadership skills, the ability to take control, direct complex and challenging situations.
