Director of Pricing Strategy – Salary Negotiable

A leading service provider is seeking a self-motivated individual with good communication skills to fulfil the position of Director of Pricing Strategy. A leading member of the global pricing team, your pricing strategies will directly drive volume and earnings and you will be correspondingly visible in the organisation.

Role & Responsibilities

Direct rigorous and insightful analysis of performance to diagnose problems and uncover opportunities.
Be ready to get your hands dirty when the situation demands.
Craft coherent strategies that you can implement.
Would typically relate to pricing, but in most cases would extend to other functional areas.
Lead a team of three.
Provide line management, including performance management, coaching and support.
Lead country managers and sales leadership to implement ‘pricing driven’ change initiatives.
Manage a portfolio of projects, all at different stages from ‘initial idea’ through to ‘global implementation’.
Leverage resources in other departments, such as Sales, Operations, Commercial, Finance, BI by actively cultivating working relationships.
Manage stakeholders and expectations.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

You are likely to be a Director or Senior Manager responsible for pricing strategy or a consultant advising on the same. Your competencies include:
Deep understanding of pricing theory and practise.
Familiarity with B2B \ negotiated pricing.
Knowledge of relevant analytical approaches including regression modelling, customer segmentation, market research and forecasting.
People management – leading small teams.
Project management – leading small projects.
Experience of driving business change, including IT-driven process change.
Working effectively across a global matrix organisation.
Experience of commercial real estate, subscription-based and fixed-capacity business would be useful, but not necessary.
