EMEA Senior Public Relations Manager - Box - London

Job description
We are looking for a passionate, proven senior PR manager in London to join our global in-house communications team.

Box first entered the EMEA market in June 2012 with its first office in London and has grown aggressively since then with over 80 employees throughout the UK, France and Germany.

Box is ready to hire a global communications rock star to lead the PR program and raise the level of conversation around Box’s strategy, products and partnerships as well as develop close relationships with top tier press, bloggers and industry influencers.

You should be passionate about maximizing near-term opportunities such as product and customer launches, while also thinking longer-term by inserting Box into conversations with influencers around technology trends, policies and the new breed of enterprise software solutions.

Responsibilities:
Lead the PR planning, strategy and execution for established and emerging regions
Manage the local PR agency (Edelman) to maximize media relationships, speaking and awards opportunities
Work with the customer programs team to secure press, speaking and award opportunities for local customers
Contribute the local angle to all global launches including partnerships, products, channel, and platform
Build compelling messaging platforms for executives through bylines, speaking and media relations campaigns
Work closely with Box’s marketing team to coordinate a strategically timed roadmap of integrated launches and events
Build strong relationships and secure regular meetings with top-tier business and technology press; identify and create proactive media opportunities

Required Qualifications:
Experience working with a global PR team
Proven track record of planning and executing successful media relations programs; solid relationships with top-tier business and technology press
Strong written and verbal communications skills
7 -10+ years experience as an in-house or agency communications professional, startup or technology-industry experience a must
BA/BS or equivalent; 4 year degree required
Multilingual skills a plus
