CNBC is the world’s number one channel for business news and broadcasts thirteen hours of live programming on the EMEA and Asia Pacific markets every business day from its TV studios based in the City of London and Singapore. CNBC also has a vast portfolio of digital products including CNBC.com, the online destination for global business; CNBC PRO, the premium, integrated desktop/mobile service that provides real-time global market data; and a suite of apps including the CNBC Real-Time iPhone and iPad Apps.
Job Overview
The VP, Marketing, Communications & PR International will continue to build the CNBC International brand across key territories via a cohesive, strategic and complete marketing message, enhanced by appropriate communication and public relations activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, manage and implement strategic marketing campaigns and produce clear communications plan to build the CNBC International brand across all International Territories.
Initiate and manage the development of media and creative advertising and marketing strategy focusing on key territories/industry sectors for business development.
Work very closely and collaboratively with key partners in the business (CS, News and Sales) to ensure all events, branding and marketing opportunities are maximised to their full potential.
Be intrinsic to and a key part of all events-led activities, including external events and those which CNBC owns.
Effective management of public relations activities to establish and develop editorial opportunities, build and maintain excellent journalist relationships.
Create and implement a CEO relationship strategy targeting CEOs of key clients list with a planned programme of activity.
Where appropriate, support internal communications activities, e.g. Town Halls
Work with counterparts in US on global messaging and international communications opportunities and liaise with corporate communications teams as required.
Lead and motivate a team of marketing and communication executives (London and Singapore based) to achieve excellent results across all areas of activity.

Ability to build an outstanding brand name for CNBC.
International Proven experience within an International Marketing leadership role (including APAC).
Talented at developing relationships and building trust – leading to results.
Commercially minded, driven individual with passion or strong knowledge/interest in business news.
Self-motivated individual driven by success.
Ability to Lead and motivate a strong team.
Strong people management skills. “Ambassador” figure for CNBC.
Able to develop relationships and liaise with all levels of the business and external relationships such as top CEOs.
