Job description
The regional Partner Business Solutions (PBS) teams work directly with large partners to develop and harness the value of their online content. Our partners represent publishing, entertainment and commerce companies as well as other emerging verticals. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape the digital alignment of marketing and business strategies as our products evolve. We build our customers' businesses through Google's broad range of partner solutions - Google AdSense, AdX, and DFP across all digital media formats, including Mobile, Display and Video, to help our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web.
The candidate will combine deep knowledge of online media, with keen analytical abilities and strong communication skills to advise and support our partners. You’ll understand your partners’ business challenges and be able to advise appropriately on how to take advantage of the new opportunities in the digital world. You will leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you’ll provide industry-leading client service, research and market analysis. You’ll lead a multinational team across industry sectors, across a dozen Northern European markets, all with a shared passion to excel for their partners.
The Large Partner Solutions team for Northern Europe handles only the most complex partnerships. We help our partners - large and small - leverage the total Google digital suite (products like Search, Display, Video, Mobile, AdServing and Social tools) to improve their business performance including generating traffic, create the right content, engaging with that audience and developing the right monetisation strategies. Your role will be to drive the Northern and Central European (NACE) Partner Business Solution team to craft strategic solutions for our partners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. You must be able to engage with senior stakeholders and hold strategic discussions at CEO level.
You will be able to focus on key accounts and efficiently serve Google’s portfolio of partners. Your experience will allow you to structure, lead and drive a large partner sales organization - building a team-culture of high performance, inclusiveness, openness and honesty. You will represent Google at external events and to highlight the benefits of working with Google to users, partners, and other industry players. You will also be a core member of the Partner Business Solutions global leadership team and of the local regional cross functional management team. Responsibilities
Strategy: Craft the regional Partner Business Solutions strategy.
Business Development: Develop strong working relationships with new and established clients and their marketing services agencies.
Partnerships: Collaborate and consult with major customers to deepen and expand relationships, increase Google’s client and agency base and ensure the accounts are making the most of Google’s product.
Communication: Represent the company at industry events, which will include describing the benefits of working with Google to users, partners, and other industry players.
Team Leader: Lead and build a successful partner facing sales organisation.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.


Preferred Qualifications

MBA.
In-depth knowledge of traditional and digital media and its competitive landscape and the ability to work with an evolving and emerging products.
Extensive international work experience, including demonstrable related business management experience.
First class business sense with distinctive problem solving and analysis skills.
Excellent business acumen, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills - with experience interacting with senior-level executives.
Hands-on experience managing high-performing teams and a demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
