Location: Stockley Park, Uxbridge
Job Purpose:
The Telecom Director,UK and Ireland, is responsible for driving iPhone and iPad sales and growing market share across consumer and enterprise through Carrier direct channels as well as Telecom retail channels. This role will also be responsible for managing global group carrier relationships. This position is responsible for achieving a significant portion of Apple’s sales revenue in this market.

A combination of Sales and Marketing experience,with significant experience interacting and negotiating at C-level
Deep understanding of the mobile handset and carrier landscape at national, regional or global level.
Excellent communicator
High levels of technical competence
Significant experience in managing, leading and developing high performing sales teams

Description
Key Accountabilities:
Directly lead, manage and develop a team comprising of Carrier Managers, Enterprise Business Development Managers and Channel Management professionals
In co-ordination with the EMEIA Telecom VP, develop the strategy to achieve iPhone and iPad sales targets for the UK
Ensures correct market coverage and increased penetration through new and existing points of sale
Provide mentoring and leadership to the sales team on iPhone related projects
Work closely with the EMEIA Telecom VP on regional and global iPhone and iPad sales initiatives
Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with the leadership of the local (and, where appropriate, global) carriers as well as Telecom retail partners at the senior level and develop a focused and productive alliance with Apple
Ensures that iPhone maintains a competitive market edge through the right positioning of product and offers with carrier partners
Monitors compliance with the Apple/Carrier iPhone agreements
Must be able to manage the day-to-day sales activities of an iPhone sales team by giving direction, providing support and making effective business decisions
Work with the major accounts teams locally to help drive sales through key enterprise accounts
Co-ordinates sales with marketing initiatives across channels to ensure the best use of Apple resources
Communicate and present our technologies to customers leveraging the broad-based technical expertise at the Apple Executive Briefing Centres
Must perform assigned administrative tasks including sales reporting, inventory reporting, maintaining files, information, and forms. Must develop status reports, establish schedules and attend meetings with internal staff

Education
Ideally requires a BSc/BA and a strong sales background including demonstrated sales management experience at senior level or equivalent.
