This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to work with very senior members of the Sony Mobile to help drive an exciting time for the industry as a whole.
This is permanent position based in Hammersmith, paying between £91,000 to £115,000 base + benefits.
The role will consist of:
Drive decision making related to pricing to optimize the company’s performance.
This role will have significant authority within the firm and will report to Marketing VP.
Assessing, training and management of high performance global pricing team
Supporting Global Sales Development to define distribution strategy that reinforces price corridors and global price stability including development of strategies to manage complex multichannel / hybrid partners.
Supporting the product category business directors to define a target consumer retail price (recommended retail price) and tariff pricing for all products from launch to end of lifecycle
Desired Skills and Experience
Key experience sought will be:
Strong track record in performing a senior management role in Pricing, Sales or Marketing. With deep insight into the management of partner pricing and investment across both operator / consolidated retail-led and distributor-led markets.
Strong understanding of the link between price and the management of distribution.
Experience / background in high value consumer products/high tech that face challenges with price stability / grey trade.
Experience in managing change and creating a positive culture. Preference for prior experience in training sales and marketing teams on how to price effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence multi-national/cultural and multi-functional teams.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Ability to co-ordinate and drive consensus across multiple market and global teams; from different global functions (product management, sales, marketing and business controlling/finance).
Demonstration of strategic and competitive insight in developing new quantitative and qualitative approaches to optimise commercial decisions
