Job description
Amazon is seeking an extremely talented Sr Manager, Corporate Development. This position will be responsible for generating, managing and executing Amazon's mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic partnership activities. This key role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of Amazon. He/she will be required to handle multiple projects across a variety of business categories including digital media, social media, mobile, advertising, online retail, payments and web services and effectively negotiate terms that benefit Amazon and our customers. The candidate will act as the primary contact in supporting Amazon's business units and senior leadership by: conducting industry research, valuation analyses, due diligence, creation of strategic presentations /recommendations and acquisition term sheet as well as both internal and external relationship building. First and foremost, the Sr Manager, Corporate Development will be an independent thinker who can make convincing, information-based arguments. This person will have very sound business judgment and be able to succeed in highly ambiguous situations.

- Experience directly related to creating and managing M&A processes for a wide variety of transactions, including public-public, public-private, and cross-border
- MBA

- Very strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
- Possess a history of high level negotiation experience
- Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow
- Ability to build consensus and experience aligning and driving cross-functional groups
