Position Description
In order to address organizational changes as well as to support a consistent execution of the Strategic Plan, the Regional Marketing Operations group has been established in Consumer EMEA with the purpose of enabling an efficient and effective coordination of portfolio management and key marketing activities across the franchises and markets.

The EMEA Category Marketing Operations Director for several consumer product categories will be a key enabler within the specific franchises on assuring an integrated management of portfolio and key marketing processes. He/She will work with his/her team and his peers to drive the agenda for the business of the Regional Marketing Operations Group.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management
NPD assumption analysis and reconciliation
Roll-out approval oversight
Portfolio optimization oversight
Post-launch analysis

Integrated Marketing Communications Scope Management
Creative development / production integrated scope-of-work management
Creative development / production integrated scope-of-work budgeting
Usage rights management (budget, agreements, etc)

Artwork Development Coordination
Cross-cluster artwork alignment
Coordination of the implementation of the new process and capabilities for non-medicinal products

Other Responsibilities

Business Plan / Strategic Plan forecast analysis
Special analysis and projects coordination (e.g.: samples)
Marketing projects and portfolio management discussion facilitation with ELT
Participation in key regional governance forums such as RFLT’s and ISGC’s

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher. MBA is preferred
Experience in consumer marketing is a must. Experience of managing and / or coordinating key consumer marketing processes such as product, artwork and copy development at a local or regional level is required.
Experience in leading and / or participating in consumer marketing governance forums such as Franchise Leadership Teams, Innovation Stage Gate Council, Franchise Week, etc is required.
Key skills for this role are analytical capacity, project management, strategic thinking and business acumen. Moreover, this role is about indirectly influencing decisions and leading people. Individuals with an outgoing, outreaching and collaborative but assertive attitude would be a good fit for this position.
Language skills: Fluent in English
