Each member is vertically aligned to support a value based partnership approach which enable the team to become subject matter experts and trusted advisors to their key prospects and targets. Throughout the sales process the team works with many touch points across the merchant and within Worldpay and is responsible for the success of the project's ability to deliver the commercial benefits to the partnership. This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced payments professional to join a very successful team spearheading significant growth for both UK based Merchants and Worldpay.
How will you add value on a day-today basis?
Key Responsibilities:
* You will use consultative and solution selling techniques to differentiate WorldPay's value from that of the competition.
* You will use business acumen and sound commercial judgment to quickly relate to your prospects, building both rapport and credibility.
* You will be the trusted advisor to the prospect, developing their needs and matching the benefits of our solutions effectively
* You will be expected to drive new prospecting activity in your Vertical both directly and through WorldPay's partners and your own network.
* You will manage the sales cycle & negotiation to ensure maximum value, optimum conversion rates and high customer satisfaction.
* You will foster relationships with all parts of the business to ensure you have the correct team in place to support any bid.
* You will provide feedback on local trends including competitor insight, changing customer needs, and product and marketing requirements.
* You will be responsible for meeting monthly sales targets and activity levels.
* You will establish a healthy pipeline by proactively managing and building connections with WorldPay's partner network and with prospects in your sector(s).
* You will develop knowledge of the payments industry and its direction and of Worldpay, its solutions, vision and direction. You will develop & maintain sufficient knowledge to be the trusted advisor to your prospect
What will make you the ideal candidate?
Ideally you will have strong New Business Payment experience in the Corporate space ideally in Hotel & Travel and be an excellent communicator, comfortable dealing with all types of contacts (C-level, I.T., Finance, Marketing)
