The Strategic Initiatives Group reports to MSIM’s executive management and works cross-functionally with business and support groups within MSIM globally and across the Firm. The team provides centralized leadership, planning, and advisory support on key initiatives identified across various disciplines including:

- industry and regulatory initiatives
- revenue opportunities
- vendor analysis/management
- investment systems enhancements and implementations
The group is seeking to hire an Executive Director to report directly to the head of the team. The position will be based in London.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of financial services experience, preferably in Asset Management or Management Consulting. MBA a plus.
• Strong track record of professional excellence and achievement
• Well-rounded with outstanding organizational and analytical capabilities
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
• Excellent presentation skills including verbal and written communication
• Commitment to deliver the highest quality work product with close attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently plan for various short- and long-term deliverables
• Solid project management experience
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team across organizational boundaries
