The role
Supporting the team in all aspects of Building Surveying Consultancy. From day one there will be a high level of client contact and the opportunity to build string networks with all of our UK offices. Clients will be principally from the commercial sector although some public sector work will be undertaken. Clients are both occupiers and investors.
Main Accountabilities
· Working as part of a regional and national team for the delivery of portfolio survey exercises or large building contracts.
· Responsible for managing own workload on day-to-day basis.
· Building inspections
· Design and contract administration duties - principally repair and maintenance works with some fit out.
· Dilapidations, acting on behalf of landlords/tenants.
· Schedules of condition.
· Fire insurance/reinstatement valuations.
· Planned maintenance.
· Party Wall advice

· Has a fee earning target
· Is aware of the team target and the role they play in achieving this
· Understands what generates revenue and makes profit

· Manages existing clients relationships at a senior level on a day to day basis
· Can identify new business opportunities outside own discipline and pass on
· Responsible for managing small instructions or subsections of major projects
· Works independently on most assignments but receives guidance only on unusual issues
· Has broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines
· Enhances BNP Paribas Real Estate’s reputation through successful delivery
· Builds own network within service lines
People
· Supervises teams on assignments
· Shares knowledge with/ provides information to colleagues and team
· Mentors other junior colleagues
Systems and Process
· Person specific. Evaluates, adapts and improves standards, techniques and procedures
· Is a contributor to BNP Paribas Real Estate projects

Essential qualifications
· Educated to degree level
· MRICS
Essential experience
· Demonstrable record of delivery in the UK Real Estate market with a building consultancy background
· Previous experience and evidence of enhancing performance through growth and profitability
· Developing profile as a business generator
