Job Description:
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Operations--EMEA, the position will be responsible for creating integrated marketing strategies and campaigns with a focus on youth recruitment as well as cross-promotional monetisation strategies, leveraging creativity to present our brand message to the target audiences. This person will use analysis of key metrics, market conditions and marketing opportunities to help drive consumer awareness and commercial growth in line with the company's larger strategic goals.
Major Responsibilities

Develop marketing vision and strategy for Europe, Middle East and Africa in conjunction with local management and International Marketing
Manage planning and prioritization of all marketing efforts for the region
Manage communication of all marketing efforts with a specific focus on data- and results-driven reporting back to key stakeholders in the region as well as central International Marketing team
Work collaboratively with key functional groups including distribution, merchandising and marketing partnerships teams to develop marketing campaigns
Work collaboratively with key support groups including Content, PR and Events to deliver fully-integrated promotional initiatives
Develop product strategy in collaboration with NY-based marketing team for NBA products including League Pass, NBA App
Collaborate with and brief marketing and advertising agencies
Manage agency relationships including regular strategic and campaign-specific direction
Pursue strategic brand marketing partner opportunities (e.g. print, radio, outdoor)
Serve as liaison between domestic research team and all London-based teams - gathering, distilling and preparing research for use across all functional teams
Manage marketing budget with a focus on delivering additional value at every level
Work in conjunction with NY-based social responsibility team to pursue strategic opportunities
Review and approve monthly schedules for institutional inventory placement.
Monitor competitor and market place trends.

Required Experience & Knowledge
Hands on experience of developing below the line campaigns.
Media buying experience.
Proven track record in developing compelling traditional and digital campaigns.
Capable of developing an integrated marketing strategy but with the ability to deliver tactical elements in tandem.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and co-ordinating multiple campaign elements.
Self-motivated, proactive and driven to achieve results.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organisational skills.
Broad knowledge of European markets.
Basketball knowledge and/or affinity.
Strong computer skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere.
10+ years' experience in marketing with a focus on consumer marketing.

Educational Background Required
University educated with a degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
