Director Sales Europe BOMBARDIER Farnborough

We have an immediate opening for a Sales Director reporting to the Vice-President Sales - Commercial Aircraft, Europe / Russia / CIS. Your mandate will be to cover Sales for our Commercial Aircraft product line to key airline accounts in the Europe region.
This position is based at Farnborough, United Kingdom.
In your role, you will:

- Act as a focal point to the external Customer for all activities relating to the sales of C Series, CRJ and Q400 aircraft products
- Build and foster relationships with our existing and potential Customers
- Build and foster relationships with consultants, governments and “influencers”
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for the region and forecasting orders with the expectation of achieving specific targets
- Create and execute the sales strategy for specific accounts in the region
- Lead and liaise with internal support teams involved in the sales process, in particular with Marketing & Airline Analysis, Contracts, Customer Support, Customer Engineering and Structured Finance Departments to ensure a successful aircraft sale

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You possess a degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing combined with 5-8 years of experience in aerospace and aviation industry related to sales and marketing is required.
- You possess the ability to lead and drive teams in the execution of sales strategies that meet specific company and departmental requirements.
- You have the ability to deal effectively with all levels of airline management and possess strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- You have knowledge of overall company policies, systems, and procedures
- You are fluent in English & French (spoken and written)
- You possess an in-depth knowledge of Bombardier Products and its Services as well as of the Airline Industry
- You understand the market dynamics and competitors
- You communicate well
- You maintain a Business Posture (attitude and image) at all times
- You are able to close deals (take the customer to the closing phase)
- You maintain a positive attitude admist adversity and be able to find solutions to overcome problems
- You have a sense of urgency
- You possess creativity in constructing deals while maximizing Bombardier’s return
- You pursue and ensure Customer Satisfaction
- You are prepared to travel extensively
