We are looking for a Director to join our Private Business Private Client (PBPC) team to be involved in leading our varied client group across the West and Wales offices. Operating across the South West and South Wales with preference for majority of focus in South Wales
To date, our marketing strategies have been extremely effective in expanding the client base, and we now are looking to build upon this to continue an impressive growth story.
We are looking for someone who has a track record of working in the Owner Managed Business (OMB) space. You will have experience of leading teams, leveraging opportunities within your existing networks as well as building new opportunities with potential clients.
You will be encouraged to shape and actively manage your career development through involvement in a broad variety of work.
About the role
You will be responsible for:
Taking the lead on an OMB portfolio - working on current opportunities as well as building your own opportunities.
Taking a lead role in managing client relationship - managing and controlling deliverables and deadlines
Identifying new opportunities for growth
Coaching, guiding and leading others.
Developing self and team members.
Being responsible for the support and development of junior staff - sharing knowledge and expertise through team working and managing individual work-streams.
Additional Information.
Amount of time office based: 40-60%
Amount of time at client sites: 60-40%
Need to travel/overnight stays away from home: Travel around the South Wales region

In this role, strong interpersonal and technical skills are a must as is the ability to take a lead role with clients and work independently.
You will take the lead on the majority of clients so a passion for client service is important.
Previous experience in a tax role and a tax discipline is essential.
