Role Purpose
The Head of Operations is a new role to head up Operations for an exciting new business within Amazon Tickets.
Role Responsibilities
To develop, agree, manage and deliver the operation plan for the new business
To work with the wider Amazon Tickets, Music, Prime Instant Video and wider Amazon team to agree and co-ordinate the long term selection, operations, marketing, product, technology and finance plans to support the business
To write the operational playbook and source third party partners to scale the new business
To ensure the desired customer experience and meet all safety and security requirements ·
To communicate plan progress to key stakeholders and escalate and resolve issues quickly
To recruit, lead and develop an operations team to support and scale the new business
Basic Qualifications

Role Requirements
Experience and strong track record at a senior level in event management and/or running major programmes, preferably in the entertainment industry
Experience in a mix of blue chip, high growth companies and start up
A passion for live entertainment
Results driven, positive and resilient individual comfortable working with ambiguity and with a strong can do attitude
Strong team player and leader, with experience leading virtual teams to deliver events /big projects
Strong organizational skills, the ability to plan for every eventuality and to stay calm under pressure
Structured thinker with strong data analytical skills and creative problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

MBA preferable
Experience in the entertainment industry
