The Staying Alive Foundation is looking for a Grant Manager to work in its Grant Management team. In addition to managing a number of grants, the manager will also be responsible for coordinating the capacity building programme for all grantees, managing the foundation’s intern, working closely with the fundraising team and promoting the work of the Staying Alive Foundation and its grantees on the foundation’s website.
The Manager will report to the Deputy Executive Director.

Management of a minimum of 25 grantees from around the world, including a number of social enterprise projects
Manage the selection of new grantees
Work closely with our implementing partner to manage our capacity building programme, including training workshops and e-courses
Managing an intern
Compile the foundation’s annual report
Work closely together with the Foundation’s fundraising team to provide input for funding proposals
Responsible for communicating the impact of the Foundation’s work to a wider audience, by sourcing and writing editorial content for the MTV Staying Alive website
Organise visits to grantee projects for external donors when required
Assist with administrative duties as required.
Experience and Skills:
Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
Experience of working with NGOs internationally ideal
Interest in development issues, in particular the impact of the AIDS epidemic on young people around the world
Undergraduate degree
Knowledge of French or Spanish preferred
Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of projects
Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Willing to travel occasionally
