The Head of Retail Banking develops consulting services solution offerings specific to the assigned domain practice area; rolls out new offerings within the domain; conducts business development activities to sell the domain’s consulting services to existing and new customers; provides customer solutions that introduce best practices; leads delivery and implementation of consulting services; and generates pull through revenue by cross-selling / up-selling related technology services.

· Interact with clients and prospects to establish rapport as well as to build the basis for a continuing relationship.
· Provide thought leadership to influence clients during proposals and sales.
· Assist teams in creative proposal generation.
· Develop long-term, annuity revenue with key clients.
· Provide leadership in practice growth and strategy execution.
· Oversee large, complex, solution implementations
· Predict and forecast domain trends anticipated for the future.
· Identify, champion, and implement innovative approaches to complex problem definition and solution.
· Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of consulting engagement practices.
· A sound knowledge of current business systems, requirements, and practices within the assigned domain discipline and of their application to both clients and target industries.
· Confidence in presenting at the C-level.
· Strong results orientation with attention to detail, quality of deliverables, and the ability to positively affect outcomes.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
· Must have extensive experience and proven track record in consulting, business development, and / or complex solution implementation within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
· Extensive large / complex consulting engagement experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
· Excellent verbal, organizational and team building skills and strong interpersonal and decision-making skills are required.
· Must be able to develop and deliver presentations as well as develop written materials for use in communicating with a large, culturally / geographically diverse customer base.
· Ability to work efficiently by meeting deadlines without sacrificing the quality of the services.
· Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
· Effective negotiation and arbitration skills along with the ability to appropriately set customer expectations.
· Natural leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage geographically and internationally dispersed and matrixed teams.
· Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills surrounding functional, technical and other non-functional requirements.
· Sound financial acumen with well-developed analytical skills.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field, advanced degree highly desirable.
· Prior and demonstrably successful, senior level consulting experience is required.
