This role is responsible for the global relationship between Microsoft and one of the largest UK headquartered Financial Services companies in the world. You will need to coordinate a global team to drive sales, customer satisfaction and consumption of services and be responsible for executing on global priorities.
You will be responsible for managing a large virtual team, both within the UK and globally. You will need to define the account strategy, communicate clearly and efficiently, and ensure that both you and your team execute effectively. It is critical to be able to pull together the different parts of Microsoft to present “One Microsoft” to our clients.

• Proven account management experience, either with very large Financial Services customers, or ideally with global customers.
• A track record of excellence in execution – in sales, customer satisfaction and driving consumption.
• Experience of driving new conversations with business decision makers, rather than IT buyers.
• Strong record of beating quota selling both software and cloud services.

Travel expectations
Microsoft has a flexible working culture and on an average week your time could be split between Microsoft’s offices in Reading and Paddington, customer locations in the UK and overseas and your home.
Flexibility on global travel will be required as this is a global customer facing role.
