VMware is seeking a Director, IT End User Services for EMEA. The senior member of the IT- End User Services will lead a regional team of IT professional to ensure all VMware employees and contractors have positive and productive technology experience. This will require direct liaison with VMWare’s regional business leaders and coordination of support engineers across multiple initiatives and services. Services will include, device and desktop application support, unified communications and collaboration support, software delivery, device management, equipment life cycle management and deployment of services.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with business stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement for end-user experience, colleague satisfaction, and cost management
Facilitate the collaboration of staff in cross-functional activities, project delivery and process improvement initiatives for the EMEA region and in tight coordination with the global organization
Promote the use of VMWare products and services within the organization and be a reference for VMWare customers
Manage, develop direct reports through performance management, ongoing mentoring and career development
Required qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Management.
10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology management with focus on end user technologies and disciplines.
8+ years’ experience in managing complex environments.
8+ years’ experience overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting on project and staff performance. * Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Experience working with Senior IT leadership in a strategic context.
Knowledge of architectures, monitoring, security control, redundancy, and high availability for user facing systems.
Ability to build and maintain partnerships.
Ability to work independently and with little guidance. In addition, significant experience in the following IT infrastructure concepts and solutions is required:
Strong understanding of desktop technologies, end user productivity applications and unified communications and collaboration services
Familiar with basic elements of IT infrastructure services (active directory, networking, server, etc)
Experience with service management (ITIL)
