Product Marketing Manager Retail Google London

As a Product Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. In particular, for this role, you will be responsible for Google-branded hardware in the mobile space. You will be tasked with bringing those products to users in partners’ retail spaces as well as online. As such, you will help determine the right distribution strategy, the best-in-class in-store execution, product positioning, competitive analysis and external communications. You will contribute to shaping the voice of the product and creating user desire and consideration across all steps of the customer journey. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, product development, operations and more. At the same time, you will work with internal global and regional teams as well as 3rd party retailers, operators and other channel partners.
Responsibilities
Drive retail marketing solutions with partners to create innovative retail solutions that drive effective sales results and maximize customer satisfaction.
Drive education and customer support programs to increase customer satisfaction (NPS) within retail channels.
Manage co-marketing activities and execute activities driving awareness and footfall, including in-store events, custom in-store placements, PR events, product launches and seasonal promotions.
Manage online retail environments, improving research and purchase experience on partner sites, and drive field marketing execution. Work with Retail Operations to develop content for local training, key messages for retail specialists, organize training events with local partners and optimize the user education events schedule.
Manage physical retail requirements including store planning (scoping and prioritising new in-store fixtures, adapting designs to fit individual stores, working with agencies, detailers, and partners on launch execution, etc), and collaborate with retail operations who manage installation and maintenance.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:
Demonstrated passion for innovative marketing.
Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment and to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving context.
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with external partners.
