Our banking and financial services consulting teams are working with top tier UK banking clients to enable them to meet their strategic imperatives across capital markets, retail and wholesale banking. We are recruiting a Director level Client Consulting Partner into our senior leadership team. The Client Consulting Partner will help us to build on our consulting business with an existing top tier Cognizant banking client, who is already benefitting from a number of Cognizant solutions. Specifically, the responsibilities of the Client Consulting Partner are as follows:
* Increase the level of Business Consulting at a top tier banking client, in terms of Consulting revenue, profit and reputation and also in terms of the growth of the overall Cognizant relationship within the targeted banking organisation.
* Work with Cognizant Client Partner(s) to deliver that success as part of the core Cognizant Leadership Team on the account.
* Enable the transformation of Cognizant’s relationships and business across the account.
* Lead the CBC team engaged across the account and leverage the required skills from across the CBC organisation to build the business accordingly.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Extensive consulting experience in Banking & Financial Services organisations with ‘Big 5’ Consulting Organisations or with leading IT services / product vendor organisations. This is a Director level position and requires an associated demonstration of CXO relationship building, relevant thought leadership, consulting business delivery and engagement leadership credibility.
* A breadth of domain expertise of relevance to the client’s business, with practical expert level consulting and/or implementation in BFS clients and ideally in the respective client
* Extensive large/complex consulting engagement experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
* Possesses business consulting skills to be able to engage client CXOs, and others on the client’s senior team, on the range of issues impacting them. Know how to deliver consulting services in a technology intense environment. Must be able to work at all levels – Bottom up and Top down.
* Market Leadership - Domain expertise in Financial Services. Experience publishing thought leadership articles addressing key issues facing the industry.
* Excellent client communication and presentation skills. Excellent relationship management skills. Demonstrable recent track record of consulting business development success in a BFS client context.
* Preferably an MBA from a top business school.
