Sales Director - Cigital - London

Cigital is looking for another full-time Sales Director based in London to continue our rampant growth in the UK and Europe.

General Responsibilities:
In this role, you will proactively contact potential business clients, research their current software security programs, and then offer Cigital solutions that will ensure that their business can grow securely. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales security experience either from existing outside sales or from inside sales where they are looking to move to an outside sales role with a company that will provide help and career development.
Roles Include:
• Prospect and close new business through outbound calling
• Develop leads through available resources and independent research
• Analyse client needs and understand their current business objectives
• Recommend appropriate Cigital solutions based on client needs and requirements
• Provide a consultative sales experience, emphasizing Cigital’s unique value
• Work as part of a team with inside sales and marketing to conceive and execute lead generation campaigns
• Coordinate on site meetings and presentations for prospects and clients
• Build and maintain a pipeline that will exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas
• Work closely with our consultants to demonstrate and scale our solutions to meet client needs
• Manage the sale from first contact through to close and identify and win follow-on opportunities
• Ensure the client is successfully transitioned to the Managing Principal’s account management team
Desired Skills and Experience
• Degree qualification or related skills with a minimum of 5 years sales experience
• A proven track record in a hunter sales environment
• Knowledge of high-tech, enterprise sales cycles
• Demonstrated ability executing strategic sales in complicated client environments.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills with the ability to be client facing
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales with extended sales cycles
• Ability to listen to clients and relay their needs internally to craft effective solutions
• Ability to work independently with little oversight
• High level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated
• Experience with IT or software security products and services are a major advantage.
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
Compensation & Work Location:
The role would be based in the London area. Cigital HQ is in Dulles Virginia, with offices throughout the US, London and Amsterdam. We offer a competitive salary, equity compensation, and benefits.
