Job description
The Oracle Solutions Practice delivers services across PeopleSoft, Fusion Applications, Oracle E-Business Suite, Edge Applications (OTM & Agile PLM) and Fusion Middleware & Technologies across all vertical sectors.
Cognizant is a global Oracle Platinum partner & 1 of only 3 global Oracle Fusion Apps co-development partners. Most recently, Cognizant has entered into an agreement to co-develop the Oracle Fusion Applications localizations for Europe,
Cognizant’s Oracle Solutions Practice provides innovative and differentiated service offerings across the lifecycle:



Enterprise Advisory Services (strategy).
Enterprise Solutions (execution of projects such as solution implementations, upgrades, integration, enhancement, etc).
Independent Verification & Validation (Oracle testing services)
Application Value Management (support & maintenance).

Skills Requirements

Provide governance for an ERP portfolio with a horizon of 3 to 5 years while aligning the delivery projects to corporate objectives.

Handle very complex stakeholder ecosystems (both Internal and external), and establish strong business connect and relationships

Strong & Proven large program management expertise involving Oracle applications Suite of products (Multi-BU implementations, Complex requirements, Global templates, Multi-country rollouts, Industry solutions, etc.)

Be proactive, identify and manage upcoming risks and drive resolution across teams



Proven expertise to manage project financials and ability to deliver projects in budget and time (expenses management, pay roll cost management and other charges incurred for project)

Ability to manage project delivery adhering to stringent SLAs & OLAs with client including quality checks, client satisfaction.

Effectively manage the IT and Business stakeholders

Understanding of change management practices

Ability to oversee the work across multiple streams such as Financials, Supply chain, Human resources and technology track.

Strong understanding of upcoming technology trends and ability to manage the paradigm shift with mobility, cloud and analytics.

Excellent people management skills. Ability to motivate diverse teams to meet program objectives

Ability to build high performing team, by managing recruiting, identifying right resources for right roles and keeping the team together to deliver on objectives set for portfolio.

Experience in working in a Global delivery model with onshore & off shore teams

Ability to plan complex programs managing effective ramp up and ramp down of teams, to manage costs effectively

Be effective status communication, based on differing needs of various stake holders.

Preferred experience in public sector domain / Transportation and Logistics

Exceptional ability to cross – sell while delivering.
