Job Description
The key responsibilities for this role include:
Develop and implement our strategic multi-channel marketing plans across the UK and key international markets, including the US.
Design and execute marketing campaigns to drive growth, using external agencies as appropriate.
Work cross functionally with internal teams including Sales, Channel, Customer Success and Product to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand and product marketing message.
Develop and manage strategic marketing partnerships.
Be an ambassador for the company, representing Wazoku in front of media, business and industry stakeholders.
Prepare and manage annual marketing budget.
Identify and report on key metrics across the full marketing function.
Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the marketing team – a desire, history of and willingness to manage and mentor a small and growing team is essential.
The Person
We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
4+ years general B2B marketing experience, preferably with a technology company and ideally with team management experience.
A proven track record of developing strategic multi-channel marketing plans and budgets, directing agencies and managing a marketing team.
An interest in, understanding of and desire to stay on top of business and innovation market trends and key topics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop positive relationships with customers and partners as well as internal stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with the ability and willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get it done.
Pro-active, independent, self-starter excited to take a leadership role in the marketing team and across the organisation.
Ability to tell a complex story simply.
International experience desirable, particularly in the US market.
