Job Description:
The Operations Director will work closely with the COO and other CEEMEA SMT and RMT members to improve the overall performance of the CEEMEA business. The role will be focused on leading strategic thinking and management of complex projects that span across multiple functions and territories, with significant emphasis on CEEMEA strategic and operational priorities.
The role is heavy on cross-functional work and involves frequent interaction with multiple teams across DNI. The position will demand a high degree of collaboration/partnership with members of different groups across CEEMEA, including senior business units, and corporate groups. Strong business acumen combined with strategic planning, project management and problem solving skills are critical, as well as sound analytical, communication, and people management skills. The ability to lead “stand-alone” project-based teams as well as work as a contributing member are essential.
The Operations Director Will Be Expected To
Proactively identify opportunities that improve the overall CEEMEA business using professional experience, industry knowledge, hard data and competitive intelligence
Continuously develop relationships with CEEMEA SMT and RMT to better understand and support regional priorities and identify new opportunities for improvement
Support ongoing strategic projects and initiatives from project management and thought-partnership perspectives.
Develop intelligence on the media industry and extrapolate strategic insights to help identify new business strategic opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Problem Structuring - Guide strategic thinking to identify, prioritize, design, structure, and manage projects that support CEEMEA’s strategic and operational priorities
Maintain updated understanding of CEEMEA strategy and interactions among CEEMEA & DNI stakeholders
Lead and support identification, definition, and structuring of operational implications from CEEMEA strategic priorities
Lead the identification and structuring of issues/questions to be solved, and the structuring of related projects
Run cross-functional business analysis and support related implementation activities across CEEMEA business
Communicate strategic insights, analysis’ outcomes and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Prepare and manage project plans and timelines. Ultimately responsible for the timely & efficient execution of projects
Develop, manage, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to help support planning and execution of strategic goals
Establish productive and collaborative relationships with senior leadership and peers
Facilitate flow of information between stakeholders (through both strong written and verbal communication)
Act as catalyst for effective alignment between groups: help expose needs, interdependencies, limitations, constraints, and mitigate potential silo approaches

Strong ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and articulate the dependencies and interrelationships
Strong presentation and persuasion skills are required
An understanding and appreciation of how to lead and manage change
Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis, as required
Minimum Qualifications
5+ year experience in management consulting or investment banking (top tier companies) or 7+ year experience in corporate and / or commercial division,
Prior assignments in sport, entertainment, research & market insights beneficial
BA/BS in business required; MBA from a top tier school a plus;
English language proficiency required
Prior experience in TV, digital media or consumer oriented assignments preferable but not essential
