
Job Description
The Implementation Consultant (IC) is a hybrid technical and client facing role within the professional services organisation. The role’s primary focus is on getting clients up and running with Coremetrics products. The IC takes ownership of the implementation project and becomes the clients’ main point of contact. The IC leads the implementation by working with the clients business and technical teams, guiding them through an established implementation process which varies depending on the client vertical and the applications contracted for. Other aspects of the role include delivering re-implementation support for existing customers, delivery of auditing services to existing customers and support ticket resolution.Majority of work is office based as the client interaction is mostly carried out by phone and e-mail. Occasional travel to carry out on site technical implementation training and on-site implementation assistance.
Roles and responsibilities
•Work directly with the client's business and technical personnel to map requirements to a technical strategy.
•Deliver technical implementation and process training to new and existing clients
•Deploy Coremetrics JavaScript-based acquisition technology on the client's web sites
•Lead client implementation projects to successful completion achieving strict data collection accuracy SLAs where applicable
•Customise and modify client-specific Coremetrics JavaScript library files
•Carry out QA and testing including Coremetrics tagging audits, Data Integrity Process set up and reconciliation
Desired Skills & Experience
Candidate must have:Strong technical background including experience in a technical consulting role including designing and building products that meet client-specific requirements
Prior experience in a client facing role
A Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and communicating regularly with the customer to provide status updates until the project is complete and accepted
Web development experience or technical web maintenance experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript
Good debugging skills and problem solving skills
Excellent customer service, presentation and writing skills. Must be comfortable interacting with Fortune 500 companies.
Database experience, particularly SQL or PL/SQL is an advantage
Ability and willingness to go through a steep technical and process learning curve and adapt to a technically challenging client facing role
Attention to detail both within client implementation projects and in following internal processes
