Role Summary
Reporting to the VP Sales andMarketing, you will be responsible to manage an European sales teams. Your willcontribute to develop our market presence and foster a real internationalculture
Key areas of responsibilities:
- You will contribute todefine and implement development strategies and action plans to increase ourpresence in Europe;
- In collaboration with ourArea Managers, you will define countries specific strategy according to locallegislation, specifications and economics situation;
- You will manage anInternational team of approximately 25 people fostering people engagement,motivation and development. You take the adequate measures to ensure that yourteam is adequately trained;
- You facilitate knowledge sharing of market, products,competitors etc. among the sales teams;
- You support your teammembers developing and maintaining active relationships with key accounts andkey regional physicians;
- You ensure that OlympusBiotech’s Code of Conduct is complied with in all business matters carried outon Olympus Biotech’s behalf;
- You ensure company qualitypolicies and procedures is respected especially regarding Promotion andAdvertising, Complaint Handling, Product Returns, Samples, and any other areasas appropriate.
Desired Skills & Experience
The successful candidate should have a strong record in pharmaceutical and/ormedical device sector. He/she will have a good experience in building, managingand developing international teams across Europe. Ability to work in anentrepreneurial environment is key. He/she is alternatively strategic andoperational when supporting his/her teams. The ideal candidate is bilingual,speaking at least two European languages.
