Job description
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shape how new and existing business grows. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, evangelize and educate new customers about Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You understand the details of individual campaigns and explore the business needs of our key clients. Working with them, you help define the vision and strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
The Head of Performance Activation UK will be responsible for managing the UK Performance Activation team. You will set the sales priorities for the year for UK Sales teams to follow, support them in growing their clients' performance through product development, client meetings and solution narratives. You will be part of the senior UK management team.

Responsibilities
Business partner to UK Managing Director and leadership team to ensure adoption of priority products and solution strategies.
Meet with key clients and agencies to evangelize and receive feedback on solution narratives.
Define UK initiatives to grow Google's performance business, collaborating with key stakeholders in country, Dublin and global teams to ensure feedback and buy in.
Provide analytical (sales and market) insights, prepare senior country and sector specific leadership plans to address performance challenges and execute them together with Large Customer Sales teams.
Activate key regional and global performance initiatives and drive best-practice sharing across UK sales teams.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BSc degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in media or digital advertising sales with a proven track record of effective sales/operations management and developing customers and relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience influencing people across functions and collaborating across market teams. Experienced people manager with strong background in leading and growing teams.
Knowledge of and experience with one or more of Conversions, Audience, Display and Search products.
Strong knowledge of Google performance marketing product offerings and competitive positioning.
Strong communication and relationship development skills. A proven track record in developing and maintaining trusted partnerships and comfortable presenting complex solutions to C-level audiences.
Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable using quantitative analysis to develop insights as basis for recommendation.
