This senior director position is responsible for business operations and resources within area of responsibility including people management and sales enablement. May also be responsible for project oversight of staff augmentation projects. Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining strategic direction, and ensuring quality of delivery by consultants within their organization.



Actively develops new approaches and opportunities for expanding customer base. Creates and implements operational policies and processes to drive consistency and support achievement of business strategy. Responsible for cultivating Oracle cross-functional communications through the creation and maintenance of strategic relationships with management in other lines of business which may include Product Development, Product Marketing, Support, Consulting Sales, and License Sales. Interacts with executive levels, both internally and externally, regarding matters that influence policies and strategies. Assesses and manages business risks in pursuit of overall business goals. Accountable for managing a substantive revenue stream and customer base. Manages and leads through direct report managers and/or senior level individual contributors.

12+ years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting management experience with financial management responsibility. Second level management experience including people, customer, financial management preferred. Proficient at managing managers and large team. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools. Ability to travel as needed.

This Senior Director position is based in London and is responsible for an increasingly diverse OFSAA implementation practice in Europe based upon complexity of the customers, solutions, and the dollar value of the practice. This candidate is responsible for directing business operations and Consulting resources for the Europe region to assist clients in implementing OFSAA solutions. Accountable for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

Detailed Description

The candidate will be accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of the Analytical Applications Consulting practice. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for setting and driving strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability.



This Position Demands a Candidate Who Can

· Actively develop new approaches and opportunities for expanding customer base.

· Create and implement operational processes to drive consistency and support achievement of practice business strategy.

· Cultivate Oracle cross-functional communications through the creation and maintenance of strategic relationships with other lines of business which may include Product Development, Product Marketing, Support, Consulting Sales, and License Sales.

· Interact with executive levels both internal and external regarding matters that influence policies and strategies.

· Assess and manage business risk in pursuit of overall business goals.

· Be accountable for managing and growing a substantive revenue stream and customer base.

· Manage and lead through management team and/or senior level individual contributors.

· Resolve staffing issues for very complex engagements.

· Identify, lead, or oversee the development of customer-facing business solutions and offerings that have an impact on the market.

· Serve as advisor or project sponsor role for complex engagements.

Job Requirements

· Must be an EU citizen and able to commute to London daily.



· Must be willing to travel (50% travel expected) across Europe and rest of the world if required.



· Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or Business or equivalent.



· Must have Financial services product implementation experience



· Must have 4+ years of consulting services senior management experience with P & L responsibility and at least 10-15 years consulting or industry experience and proficient at managing managers and large teams.



· Must have direct line management experience including project, people, customer and financial management.



· Big-4 / Consulting experience highly desirable



· Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level highly desirable



· Enterprise Risk Management, Enterprise Profitability management and Financial Crime and compliance experience highly desirable



· Multi-lingual capabilities and international work experience highly desirable



· Masters or higher degree highly desirable.
