This career opportunity covers the Luxembourg Bank and EMEA HQ; the Business Risk and Internal Controls team, and Central Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa businesses; on the ground operations in Turkey, Russia, Poland and Israel.

As part of the business partner team, you will partner closely with the revenue generating client group. You will play a lead role in the development of a people agenda that facilitates business growth & the evolution of Luxembourg bank. You will translate this agenda to the local businesses & drive it in an impactful way.
Be a thought partner to the General Manager (GM) clients on all people aspects of the business, including organisation design, headcount discipline, hiring, succession & people development. Propose robust People solutions to business challenges that balance short & long term considerations.
Be present & active in the local businesses. Proactively present organisational insights to the GM clients & their leaders that alert them to issues & enable them make informed decisions around key matters like retention, climate, people moves. Know the talent in the organisation. Coach & mentor selected leaders around their career, management style & development.
Develop strong relationships with the functional HR Specialists & work collaboratively with them to deliver on our people agenda across regions; ensure best practice & intelligence sharing. Create operational traction in key people areas & be the recognized voice of authority on people matters in the business leadership teams.
Provide strong support to the regions/global people teams on key initiatives & be prepared to lead & contribute to projects. Network proactively within the global people community; share successes & solutions with People colleagues outside the Regions; seek out what peers are doing elsewhere that would have value to local clients’ needs.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus a post-graduate HR certification (i.e. CIPD - coaching & organisation design) is desired.
Work Experience:
A strong performer in the people/HR space.
Experience to have been gained in a role such as a Regional or Global HR Business Partner, People Business Partner, Senior HR Business Partner, Head of HR, HR Director etc. This experience will have been gained in fast paced, international, dynamic & progressive environments.
Experience working in multiple geographies is preferred, ideally in an expanding growth business.
