The PPC Search Account Director is going to be a key player on our important cross-channel digital accounts. This role sets the direction and strategy for the account, ensures that Search activity delivers against plan and that new industry trends are recognised, communicated, tested and optimised. We are looking for someone who challenges the status quo and who constantly looks to improve the way we do things.

The AD is responsible for managing a PPC team – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth.
In addition, the person will be reporting to Business Director in new business pitches and other areas of importance at the department and agency level.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Leading and directing account strategy for growth
• Ensuring strategy is executed accordingly and delivers on target
• Oversight on all aspects of client’s PPC services
• Key point of contact for clients
• Staff management and development
• Assessment and introduction of new technology
• Ensuring best practice is being challenged and developed
• Production of thought leadership documents, points of view and case studies
Qualifications Required
• Media/online experience including experience in PPC
• Must have a strong understanding of automated search marketing tools and software, including bid management, tracking and ROI analysis
• Good understanding of SEO knowledge and strong cross-channel analytics skills
• Strong proven management experience
• Excellent track record of managing multiple client engagements on UK and international level as well presenting growth opportunities
• Clear understanding of client marketing strategy and the role of search within it
• Maintaining a good understanding of our commercial terms for each client
• Must be passionate about the online industry
• Eligible to work in the UK
