Job Description:
To accelerate service delivery, efficiency and performance within and between Operations in the Regions, Global Service Centers and Global Competence Hubs. Support the delivery force to make their work more efficient through adequate delivery tools, processes, ways of working, measurements & KPIs, job roles, competence models and support, deployment programs and common structures. Identify and execute improvements within the global service delivery organization and customer projects.
Secure close cooperation with the Regions, Global Service Centers and Global Competence Hubs and Business Units, to upgrade Ways of Working, Competence and Knowledge Management practices. The intention of this job role is also to develop, deploy and implement ESDM in line with the service delivery strategy to create an environment that supports global efficiency and profitable growth.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Key Purpose & Responsibilities
The purpose of the Service delivery Assurance Director – Safety & Security role is as follows:-
Provide effective east / west global coverage and support for all PSS global commitments
Establish effective and consistent governance towards all Regions, GCH functions and GSCs for I&S Safety & Security commitments.
Monitors delivery to assure time, cost and quality in co-operation with Regional management
Define and establish mechanism and agreed way of working to secure regular consistent reporting to gauge the consolidated and by project operational / financial status and performance of I&S Safety & Security service delivery project commitments globally.
Plan, set up, chair and follow up on Regional performance, governance and operational review meetings
Accountable for analysing operational and financial performance trends and initiating targeted improvement activities to drive corrective actions where deviations are identified.
Provide support to Head of I&S Practice Operations – Safety & Security as required
Represent, champion and act as an ambassador for global I&S Operations internally.
Conducts project reviews and prescribes/drives get well programs
Verifies and validates deliverability, operability and maintainability of portfolio offerings.
Drives Proof of concept & trials of new portfolio solutions
Secures delivery readiness of portfolio offerings within Regions and GSCs
Defines and drives implementation and adherence to PSS operations delivery strategy.
Manage multiple stakeholders to drive the on time, to scope and planned quality development of the Safety & Security product and solution portfolio.
Proactively identify and execute improvements within the global service delivery organization.
Facilitate global knowledge sharing to support Regional/GSC readiness, lessons learned and performance improvements
Secure close cooperation with the Regions, Global Service Centres and Global Competence Hubs and Business Units to improve Ways of Working.

Background & Experience
Sound understanding of the I&S Public Safety & Security industry and portfolio offering areas.
Broad understanding of the Ericsson MS, CSI and PRS service Portfolio, delivery models and ways of working.
Good understanding of Ericsson’s organisational structure
Extensive experience in a Service Delivery Management and/or a Customer Project management role
Significant experience working with and in accordance with the PROPS-C framework
10+ years successful track record of achievement in a cross functional delivery management role
Proven ability to develop and execute effective delivery governance as well as operational and financial performance management for both internal and customer projects
A proactive, energetic and intelligent fast learner with the passion and persistence to drive the I&S business to maturity
Commercially and technically astute with proven ability to assess and use financial and operational data to drive key decisions, actions and follow up.
