Job description
The Account Director, JAPAC Region (AD) is responsible for the overall strategic relationship and revenue and profitability in the region.
The AD acts as the team leader, coordinating the activities of local Account Managers (AM) and Account Executives (AE) in the region.
The AD is the first point of escalation to address any issues or concerns from the Client, Supplier(s), and AD of other regions.
There is a responsibility to make sure affiliate campaigns are balanced throughout the quarter to ensure the clients’ quarterly and annual program revenue and efficiency goals are met.

There will be a focus on affiliate expansion, plus managing a high-touch, strategic relationship with the top affiliates in the region.

The AD is responsible for flawless delivery and compliance with the regional Client scope of work.

Responsibilities

The AD is responsible for Agency delivery and adherence to Client Scope Of Work, which includes: Overall Program Management, Affiliate Relationship Management, Network Management and Expansion, Brand Compliance, Technical & Reporting Support, Ad Serving and Advertising Support, Advanced Linking Support, Program Incentives, Product Feed Integration, Scheduled Reviews, Competitive Landscape Reviews.

The AD is required to communicate daily with Client and team members in English. The AD is responsible for managing and motivating team comprised of AM and AE located in Singapore, and AM located in Japan.

The AD will help to develop a team of strong individuals, providing opportunities to improve skills and grow professionally within the organization.

The AD will be counted on for generating insights, innovation, and thought leadership in order to keep the Client’s business ahead of the market and focused on effectiveness. The AD is responsible for managing relationships with key third party service supplier(s).

The AD should be capable of doing AM and AE work, to help establish new markets entering the program and as a backup. The AD is responsible for communication with regional directors in other regions (AMR, EMEIA).

The current market list for JAPAC region includes: Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan, China (not yet active: Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam). Plus any other market added by Client to the region.

The AD will act as an internal ambassador for the affiliate discipline and help to educate the Agency on the service and it’s import in creating business value.

The AD is responsible for the delivery and quality of the affiliate marketing program for the Client in the region

Qualifications

Job Experience

Previous experience in Digital Marketing, and direct experience with and deep understanding of Affiliate Program Management is a requirement.
