We are seeking an energetic, talented, and passionate marketer to help drive the creation of top-flight marketing and advertising campaigns spanning customer acquisition and engagement. You will work across free and paid marketing activations, balancing free and direct response channels with broader mass media channels. You will work collaboratively with other marketers, copywriters, user experience designers, visual experience designers, vendor managers, and product managers, helping define and execute the brand voice in the UK. You must be a critical thinker with a good creative sense, have a strong analytical background, and an instinct for making tasks simple.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute comprehensive marketing and merchandising campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement across free and paid marketing channels.
Develop a plan of marketing experiments to test increased acquisition and engagement of customers.
Drive key category penetration amongst subscribers and leverage vendors where appropriate within the wider marketing approach.
Produce creative and copy as needed for email, direct mail, promotions, traditional media, on-line advertising, print, and/or out of home advertising.
Develop and execute clear and appropriate measurement of all marketing activities to ensure that time and budget is spent on the most effective and efficient channels.
Measure creative outputs against internal and external measures and delivering continuous improvement.
Contribute to and help drive the editorial calendar; drive collaboration across the marketing and vendor management teams on communication and promotional campaigns; produce creative briefs.
Collaborate with the Customer Insights Manager to develop a solid understanding of our customer behaviors and effectiveness of new engagement and promotional programs and apply this to future marketing activities.
Drive collaboration and synergies in customer engagement with related product platforms: Prime Now, Prime Pantry, Core Grocery, Core Consumables.
Secure and manage internal and external resources (including agencies) when needed
Basic Qualifications

Relevant marketing experience (consumer marketing, campaign planning, product marketing, or marketing communications) with a major brand, marketing agency and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products.
Marketing campaign management experience across digital and/or advertising channels.
Ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback from merchants, marketers, copywriters, and product teams into creative direction.
Strong analytical skills and comfort with metrics-based marketing measurement, including the ability to effectively communicate the right metrics for the right marketing activity.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced online environment.
Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading the creative and media planning/buying process.
Ability to facilitate the creative development process, including providing clear direction, and producing work cost effectively and on schedule with both internal and external agencies.
Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicles.
Proven ability to generate innovative and effective marketing programs that produce results.
Track record of delivering online traffic growth from multiple sources including free and paid search, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social networking, banner advertisements and on-site placements.
Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions.
Curiosity to dig several layers deep into metrics, have an innate desire to understand key drivers and whether they are the correct or best metrics to measure / manage a business or process.
Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment.
Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables) required, and with SQL (basic queries) desired.
Familiarity with HTML, XML, Photoshop, and general office software.
Masters or MBA preferred.
