iTunes is seeking a talented, communication specialist to join the International Digital Marketing team. This role will focus on managing Social Media for iTunes and the App Store across our International markets (outside of the US and Canada).

Key Qualifications

Extensive experience in a senior management position within the Digital Marketing sector, specialising in Social Media.
Experience within a Global organisation with International work experience.
Experience developing engaging content strategies across a variety of social platforms
Proven track record of working within a fast-paced environment

Description

The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our branded social media channels for International markets, along with working cross-functionally and with our partners to amplify our social media presence and relevance, grow our audience and increase engagement and effectiveness across our International markets. This involves both project management and content development; working closely with Marketing, Editorial and Content teams to plan and implement our social media strategy; generating creative ideas that encourage consumers to interact across social media.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a genuine passion, affinity and vision for social media, and a deep understanding of how social trends intersect in the daily behavioural habits of iTunes, iBooks and AppStore customers worldwide.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
High-level business management skills including talents in analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify trends to support decision making.
Experience developing engaging content strategies across a variety of social platforms
Excellent Editorial judgement
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem solving skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex issues
Detail-oriented project management capabilities
Experience working and collaborating with International teams
Comfort with technical content such as Social Publishing platforms and Content Management Systems
Comfortable in a fast-moving, constantly evolving and dynamic environment
Ability to work cross-functionally within a global organisation
Flexibility for frequent travel abroad to work with international teams

Education

University degree in Marketing, Communication and/or Business Management. MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus
